Executive Board

The board of SBB consists of twelve members and has a balanced structure: six members originate from the field of education and six members originate from industry, and represent the social partners. Of the six SBB board members originating from the field of education, one member is chairman of the VET Board. Three of the six members work at a funded VET institution. One of the six SBB board members originating from the field of education has been nominated by the NRTO (Netherlands Board for Training and Education).

One of the six SBB board members originating from the field of education, represents teaching personnel in VET. The nominated person must be well aware of the daily teaching experiences of teachers in VET. Of the six SBB board members originating from industry, three members work or have a management position at one of the following employer organisations: VNO-NCW, MKB Nederland and LTO Nederland. Of the six SBB board members originating from industry, three members work or have a management position at one of the following employee organisations: FNV, CNV and MHP.
